TROOP 225 SCUBA DIVING ADVENTURES!

On behalf of all of us here at The Dive Place we welcome Troop 225.

 

In conjunction with your troop we have organized several different dive prior to your adventure at Sea Base.

 

For Troop 225 we have we also offer discounts on Open Water Scuba Certification classes as well as Continuing Education Classes such as Advanced Open Water and Computer Nitrox.

WEST PALM BOAT DIVE - MAY 23rd.

Step it up to the next level and come and explore with Troop 225 and discover the rich marine life and abundance of wrecks that are the true treasures of West Palm Beach diving. 

 

The incredible and beautiful natural reefs that run parallel to the shore are surrounded by clear water. 

 

Favorite dive sites like the beautiful coral reef "The Gardens" and the  "Ledges" offer a variety of dive sites to explore.

 

With the warm waters, sea turtles, treasure ships, reefs and wrecks, every diver should be able to find dive spots to enjoy at West Palm Beach!

WALKER'S CHARTERS!

To make this an adventure to remember we have reserved a private charter with

 Walker's Charters to be our host. 

 

Setting a high standard  when it comes to Scuba diving, Walker's Charters is in a league of their own. With their Coast Guard certified custom designed 36ft boat built "Wetter The Better" they can certainly go the extra mile making it perfect for scuba diving.

 

On-board amenities include:

  • 14ft extra wide deck

  • Large dry storage area for all your gear

  • Two fresh water rinse hoses onboard

  • Large freshwater rinse bin for camera

  • Large ice cooler with complimentary beverages and fresh fruit.

  • 60% of the boat is shaded

  • A spacious bow for those wanting to soak up the Florida sun.

 

We believe that Walkers Charter and their amazing crew will provide Troop 225 the opportunity to make this an adventure of a lifetime!

DEPARTURE TIME IS 8:00am SHARP!

***PLEASE NOTE*** Departure time is set at 8:00am sharp. Please allow plenty of time to get to the boat.

Because the boat is on a strict scheduleIt will not wait for stragglers.

To dive with Walker's Charters, a Scuba Diver Certification Certification is required. Advanced Diver Certification may be required for some dives. The Dive Place can help you obtain certifications prior to this amazing adventure.

PRICES AND REQUIREMENTS 

Below is the list of prices and the requirements for diving the Atlantic with Walkers Charters. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to your troop leader or The Dive Place

​

  • Each diver will be required to have have their Open Water Scuba Diver Certification card with them.

  • Each diver will need to carry a SMB (Safety Sausage) with them in the water.

  • Each diver will need full set of diving equipment including snorkel.

  • This is a two tank dive - therefore each diver will need two tanks.

  • If choosing to dive using Nitrox you will need a Nitrox Certification.

  • f you are not Nitrox Certified The Dive Place can help you obtain that certification.

  • Please note that departure time is 8am. All divers will need to be at the boat for a 7:15 check in.

  • The cost for the Two Tank Dive on Wetter The Better is $85 per person plus tanks.

  • Tanks can be rented from The Dive Place. Air Tanks are $10 each. Nitrox Tanks are $12 each. 

  • Due to Covid restrictions, each passenger on the boat is required to wear a face mask when not in their scuba gear.

Parking is complimentary at the dock. There is a designated loading/unloading area down by the docks. Please arrive and check in at the boat by 7:15. This will allow enough time to complete paperwork and have your equipment stowed on the boat. 

 

Please note that the baot departs PROMPTLY at 8am. Failure to checkin and board the boat on time will result in loss of your space and fees.
