Dive in these pristine waters with an abundance of marine life including Goliath Grouper, Ells, Turtles, Eagle Rays, Parrot Fish as well as Silky, Reef, Hammerhead, Blacktip, Lemon and Nurse sharks.

 

Discover and explore some of the healthiest coral reefs in the world without traveling half-way around the planet.

 

And for those who are brave enough you can even snorkel with crocodiles.

During Your Adventure To CUBA

Being home to the third largest reef in the world The Gardens of The Queens offers divers an experience they will never forget.

​

With more than 80 dive sites divers will discover an amazing pristine environment that include Black Coral I and II, Boca de Pier, Farad;on, Five Seas, Los Indos to name just a few.

​

While onboard you will experience Marine Conservation and Education. The Gardens Of The Queen is a beacon of hope and a prime example of proper ecosystem management. Throughout the week guests will have interaction with marine biologists, naturalists, dive guides and fish and wild life officers.

Year-round The Gardens Of The Queen is home to 6 species of sharks. Caribbean Reef Silky, Nurse, Lemon, Great Hammerhead, Blacktop and seasonally Whale Sharks.

Sample ITINERARY!

Friday : 

Fly from The USA to Cuba. 

​

Saturday :

  • Morning - Transfer from Havana or Camaguey to Jucaro

  • Boarding begins at 2pm. Arrive at dock and check in.

  • Safety briefing, equipment outfitting and prep dive equipment.

  • Dinner

  • Educational Presentation by marine biologist giving an overview of coastal marine habitat preservation.

  • Evening - Travel to the marine park. A 4 hour trip

Sunday to Friday :

  • 6:30am - Breakfast

  • 7:30am - Depart for the first dive following the dive briefing.

  • 9:00am - Return to boat for snack.

  • 10:00am - Depart for second dive following dive briefing.

  • 12:00pm - Lunch.

  • 1:30pm - Depart for third dive following dive briefing.

  • 3:00pm - Return to boat for afternoon snack.

  • 4:00pm - Depart for fourth dive following briefing.

  • 6:00pm - Log fish surveys after dives review findings with marine biologists and guides. 

  • 7:00pm - Educational and conservation lectures with marine biologists.

  • 8:00pm - Dinner, plan for next day's activities.

*4 dives per day including 2 night dives during the trip. Friday dives are limited to 2 dives to allow 24 hours prior to flying.

Friday :

4:00pm - Return to Port Jucaro; overnight on boat.

​

Saturday May 11th:

9:00am - Disembark to Havana or Camaguey to fly home..

Method Of PAYMENT

For this Adventure deposits and payments must be made using either cash or check. Credit cards will not be accepted for deposits or payment of the final balance.

  • Accommodations on the boat

  • All meals, snacks and beverages (soft drinks, bottled water, wine, beer and rum drinks).

  • 4 dives per day. 

  • All shore excursions.

  • Tanks and weight belts.

Whats Not INCLUDED

  • Air Fare to/from Havana or Camaguey.

  • Hotel accommodation in Havana or Camaguey

  • Dive gear rental (if needed) 

  • Gratuity for the boat crew. 15% recommended

  • Any specialty beverages other than listed above.

Cancelation POLICY

Deposits and payments are non-refundable. 

​

Covid cancelations. If boarders are closed at time of travel, then a rebooking will be allowed. All rebooked trips will be reinforces and any difference in fare and fees will be assessed.

​

Trip interruption due to storm, a future credit will be offered for any missed days with no expiration date using the credit. Please note there is no refunds due to weather cancelations.

 

Travel PROTECTION

It is REQUIRED and that all divers purchase diving accident insurance. Travel protection insurance is also recommended to help protect you and your trip investment. For more information and to purchase dive and travel insurance you can visit the providers listed below.

Diveassure: For annual combination trip and dive accident insurance. This policy also includes coverage for cancelation du to covid.

Important To Leave At HOME:

GPS Devices, Drones, Satellite Phones.

They will be confiscated by the Cuban Government

  • Kindles, iPads, Laptops and Cell Phones with GPS on them are still permitted.

  • Regulator With Submersible Pressure Gauge

  • Dive Light (Required For Night Dives)

  • Chemical Light Stick Or Suitable Substitute (Required For Night Dives - May Be Purchased Onboard)

  • Divers Certification Card

  • VISA - U.S. Citizens - Issued At Airport At Check-in

  • Money (For The Night(s) Ashore, Souvenirs And Crew Tip. 15% Is Recommended And Can be Given To The Captain At The End Of The Week). The Recommended Currency To Bring To Cuba Is The Euro.

  • Island Hiking Shoes

  • Bug Repellent

  • Clothing To bring; The atmosphere on the  ship is always relaxed and casual. Several bathing suits, shorts, long pants, several t-shirts, blouse/shirt and wind breaker all packed in soft luggage. Also deck shoes, sandals, suntan lotion (non-oil based) and sunglasses. In winter sweatshirts or sweaters are advisable.

  • Personal items such as Aspirin and decongestants.
